You should be Proud to be Greek...

I love the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding." because it reminds me so much of my own big fat Greek family. Just like the movie, we are big and loud and in each other's lives and business...
My Grandpa Phillips has been fighting cancer for the past 8 years and has taken a turn for the worst. I felt extremely proud to be Greek when I got the the hospital yesterday and saw my Grandma surrounded by her three Greek sisters who heard of the news and rushed to be with her. These ladies aren't young and healthy themselves, in fact one sister suffered a stroke only two weeks ago. The best part about being Greek, is the love and support from family. "No matter where I go or what I do, they will always be there"...

Yesterday's project...

I'm a firm believer that happiness is creating something new everyday!
This was yesterday's creation.
I was able to use scrap material that I had lying around from other projects so it didn't cost me a dime ...
Even Matt was impressed this time, he thought I bought them and was checking up on how much money I had spent. That was a real compliment, the best one I could ever get from Matt...

Hunter is a "Rad KID"...

Hunter has participated in the RAD Kids program at school this year. Last week we went to the school to watch some of the self defense skills that they have learned. It was pretty amazing to watch Hunter fight off the big bad guy. We hope he never needs to use these skills... but it was sure fun to watch him pratice. You are a super RAD KID Hunter!

Wishing and Hoping...

Well, it's official, we are having a
GIRL!!!
This is the little dress that I have been waiting to buy ever since I found out we were having a new baby. I finally got to make the purchase. I'm both super excited and a little nervous for this new addition to our family. It is really going to shake things up in the Knudsen home. The big brothers just can't wait for their little sister to come.

Bag Crazy...

So I've gone a little bag crazy...
I keep making these bags because they are super easy, but they look really impressive. This is the diaper bag that I will probably use the most because the size and shape is a little more realistic for everyday use. I can't stop looking at this bag, it just makes me super Happy.

Super Bummer Day...

Well, I went for my ultrasound today which was supposed to be a fun and exciting right, WRONG!
They couldn't tell if it was a boy or girl which was a little depressing today since I had planned a trip to Park City to do some shopping.
Then they said the baby looked really small, so they moved my due date back two weeks. Im sorry but you don't tell a pregnant woman her due date is wrong by that much. It's painful! So my new due date is September 10th which is Hunter's birthday. I'm scheduled for another ultrasound in 4 weeks, which is the third bummer because that is a whole month away. What a day I've had. So, If you didn't get that expected phone call today, I'm sorry, I had to do a little pouting and regrouping. Tomorrow will be a better day.

Today's the day...

So today is the big day...
What is your vote,
Boy or Girl?

The Hunt...

We had a Hoppin Easter Egg hunt with the neighborhood kids yesterday.
All the mom's brought 6 eggs for their kids and we hid them in the field behind my house.
Both Grant and James were thrilled to have all of their friends over for a party, even though Grant said "Mom just wanted to have a party."
We counted 25 kids ages 1-5. It was defiantly a success.
After the Hunt, we ate a picnic lunch at my house. I set a table for the Mom's, but we all ended up on the blanket. It was a fun sight.
Happy Easter Everyone!
