It's a party...

I never knew that having a girl would be this much fun.
Ella set up this little tea party all by herself this morning. She invited all her friends.
It was too cute for words.

My latest...

Zoe's baptism dress. I was really nervous making this dress...
but I think it turned out pretty good.

Crazy , Busy, Fun, Halloween weekend...

We started our fun with a craft project with Great-Grandma Phillips.
She helped the boys make Mummy's for their teachers.

Grandma Kathy was there too and colored pictures with Ella.

We had family pictures scheduled with the whole Knudsen gang.
This was an out fit check photo...

Ella wore curlers over night to prepare for the pictures. When I got her up in the morning and asked her how she slept, she replied "ouch".

Time for the real fun... Dinner at Grandma & Grandpa Knudsen's house with all the cousins.

We took lots and lots of fun cousin pictures.

Ella was having a really girly girl attitude... We finally settled on a picture on the tractor.

My four scary monsters.

Hunter and Kayley, a perfect match.

Ella loves Aunt Jody. She makes everything better.

Halloween morning before school.

We visited Grant's class

and watched the Halloween parade.

We visited Hunter's class

and helped with his Halloween party.

Ella thought she was just one of the kids.

James had a fun party at his school too. He loves teacher Jill.

James and Grant went to a Halloween party at the Fischer's house.

They had tons of fun with their friends.

Then it was time for trick or treating. Our first stop was Grandma and Grandpa Knudsen's house. Then we went around the neighborhood. Next stop was Great grandma Phillips's house for dinner. The kids were so tired when we got there, they shed their costumes before I could get my camera out. Halloween at Grandma Phillips's house was what I remember as a child, so it is fun for me to watch my kids enjoy that same tradition.
It was a Crazy, Busy, Fun Halloween Weekend. Can't wait till next year...

Where do you feed the Ducks?

My friend Brittanie gave me a huge sack of left over subway bread and said have fun feeding the ducks...
So we walked across the street to the neighborhood duck pond...

Little did I know that every Duck in Utah lives in this little duck pond.
They surrounded us. Luckily we had enough bread to feed all those hungry beaks.

Ella was happy as long as she stayed in the stroller.

Hunter thought it was really awesome. He practiced his very best duck calls.

James was trying to be brave, but every once and a while a one of the ducks would get a little pushy...

Grant takes after his mother, with a slight fear of birds. He fed the ducks, but tried to stay as far away from them as possible.

What funny memory... Thanks Brittanie for all the fun.

Fun Photo Shoot

We have been without a camera for far too long.
We sent Matt's camera in to be fixed.(it was still under warranty).
This week they sent us a brand new one. How about that...
So I celebrated with a fun photo shoot of Ella in this cute cherry dress Aunt Michelle gave her for her birthday.
I can't wait to put these cute pictures in my kitchen.

St George trip.

It Killed me not to have a camera on this trip... Thanks family for sharing pictures with us.
We had tons of fun with the Knudsen gang. We met up with them friday evening for dinner at Cafe Rio and everyone's favorite Nelson's Frozen custard. The kids enjoyed swimming, and more swimming. The boys are little fishies.. while Ella is more like her mother, somewhat afraid of the water. We went to the wildlife museum which was so fun for the boys. We celebrated Lucy's birthday with a super fun "Olivia" party. Aunt Jessie went all out as usual:)
We explored Snow Canyon State Park. The kids loved the sandune hills and the Jenny's canyon hike. On the way home we stopped at Cove Fort which was the perfect sunday boost we were missing. The trip was a happy success.

YW retreat 2011

I'm still camera less... So thanks to Michelle you can see all the fun things that we did on our retreat. I love these girls and leaders.
Two favorite moments: Staying up all night with my Sis in law laughing and talking.
Hearing the announcement of the new Provo Temple with the young women.
Totally worth it!

Faith in every Chapter

Girls camp this year was so much fun. This small group of girls and leaders are so wonderful. It was a joy to be with them. It was beautiful at Camp Mia Shalom this year and we had experiences that none of us will ever forget. I am so blessed to be apart of this ward and this wonderful yw program. Girls camp is where testimonies are built and strengthened and I' m grateful for the experiences I have had at Camp Mia Shalom.

Happy Fourth of July

It's fun to have the Holiday weekend spread out. The party keeps going on...
Saturday night we got yummy Cafe Rio take out and went to the Provo high football field to watch the fire works.

We played frisbee and catch and kicked the soccer ball around. The kids all were really silly and fun that night. We loved the fireworks show and loved being together.

On Monday, all the kids wanted to do was ride their horse Chief. Matt saddled him up and they had a great time. Miss Ella surprised us all. She loved the horse ride and we could hardly get her off. Matt was thrilled with his 3 little cowboys and 1 cowgirl.
