Fish Lake

Ivie Family Reunion 2011
at
Fish lake

My cute Family

All 11 Knudsen Cousins

Grandma and Grandpa Ivie
celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.

Hunter got this tent for Christmas and was dying to use it. I was so nervous to let him stay out in the tent by himself all night, but Hunter did great. He is growing up way too fast.

The big hit for my kids was this awesome bike hill... They rode bikes almost all day every day. It was so much fun.

We brought the fishing boat again this year. Matt was awesome to take all the kids fishing. Uncle TJ was the only one who caught anything, but everyone had fun trying.

Uncle Jerald was the life of the party. He dressed in the suit and scared all the kids up in the woods. The boys are still talking about it.

Miss Ella is so much fun. She thinks she is as big as the rest of the kids. She has the cutest personality. We just love her!

Couldn't resist a photo opp...

We got a snack at the lodge...

Sunday night we were a little silly and decided to have a dance party in the parking lot. We blasted the boys current favorite... Beber music... and danced until we couldn't dance anymore.

Grandma and Grandpa Knudsen thought we were crazy because of the freezing cold weather, but we didn't care. We had so much fun together.

Last night at fish lake.

We had so much fun. Just what the Doctor ordered...

PS. I've created a diet coke monster...

Surprise from Dad

We have been talking about a swing set since we moved to this house, and it just never worked into the budget. But the other day Matt surprised us all and brought home this awesome swing set. The kids are thrilled, and so am I. I love sending the kids out to play knowing they are safe in our back yard. What an awesome Dad we have. Thanks Matt We love you!

Pre-school graduation

James is an official pre-school graduate.
Even though he has one more year of pre-school, we were excited to celebrate his hard work this year. James is a really quick learner and things seem to come naturally to him. I am impressed with his handwriting and especially how well he writes his name. We love you James!

Life is good...

Life just keeps speeding along. We are as busy as ever. Hunter just finished 3rd grade. Grant just finished 1st grade, and James finished his first year of preschool. I am busy keeping up with all four of the kids. I'm also serving as the young woman president in my ward which takes up a lot of my free sewing time... but I love everything that I am doing. I especially love doing things with my "not" so little family. Her are some of the things that we have been up to...

I didn't get an official Easter shot of all the kids, but I did get Ella to pose for a quick photo shoot. She is good to play along with me. Grandma Cindy made her dress, Isn't it just so cute ...

We went and scoped out the new Provo Beach Resort in the riverwoods. Hunter was determined to do the ropes course. I was extremely nervous to let him, especially after seeing the release form...

but he was so brave and it sparked amazing confidence in him. We will be visiting the ropes course again soon.

His sister Ella was nervous watching him too. She kept yelling Go Hunter.

On the first saturday of the month we participate in the Home Depot kids club. Its a great program and my kids look forward to it. In May we built these cute flower pots. Even Ella loves to build things. She is always so proud of herself when she is done. Did I mention it's Free !

We celebrated James and Matt's birthdays in May. We went to the park and got yummy Bajio and just played and ate and had a great old time.

This is my mom and her dad, my grandpa on the teter totter. It really was even funnier in real life. I love these two and their willingness to just play and have fun even now.

Matt took a turn on the whirling flower. They looked harmless, but it was quite a ride.

James wanted a light saber cake, so this was my best attempt.
