We decided a long time ago that we would buy the boys their first bb guns for their eighth birthdays...
After school we had the cousins over for some swimming. It has never been hot enough for a swim party on Hunter's birthday before so this was a treat.
Hunter really wanted a big friends party this year, but because of the new baby, I wasn't feeling up to it. I guess Hunter had his heart set on it and took matters into his own hands by inviting a bunch of kids at school to come over for a swim party. I had two moms call wondering if there really was a party...
That evening we took the family and two friends to the pirate island pizza place. The kids enjoyed the awesome pirate scenery and the fun arcade games.

I can't believe you have an 8 year old. Are you old enough to have kids that big? I still feel like we're 18. He's darling! good job celebrating!
What a fun birthday! You are such a fun mom!
Looks like it was a great day for Hunter. He is smiling big in every picture. It is crazy to think you have an eight year old already.

Allyssa & Zack both came home swearing that Hunter was having a party that day. However, I knew better. ;)
