A Mother's Reward...

Today I got this sweet love note that Hunter wrote as part of his SEP conference.
It's a great day to be the MOM!

Two Amazing Sisters...

These beauties are my amazing Sisters, Andrea and Brooke...
I'm not sure what my life would be without them.

My cute sister Andrea is studding to be a nurse and is super busy with school and studding and work, but every Tuesday night without fail she is at my house, ready to watch my boys so that I can go do my calling in Young Women's. Last Tuesday we were running late, and I left her with dishes on the table, the boys needing baths, and homework not done yet. When I came home the house was spotless, the boys were bathed and jammied and homework was done. She also got the boys to clean their rooms and play room. She really took over and I just love her for that. Thanks Andie, you really do a ton for me.

This is Brookie, my boys second Mom... Brooke is always there when I need some help, which is quite often. This past month I have had every sickness under the sun, not to mention just the usual pregnancy yuckies. I struggled to get out of bed and wasn't sure how I was going to be the Mom. My sister Brooke saved the day. She was at my house early almost every morning, she played with my kids and took care of their needs, she cleaned my house so that we could still live in it. She was Amazing. Every mom needs a Brookie and I'm so grateful to have her help and friendship. Brooke is going away for school this fall, and I'm really not sure what we will do while she is away. I love you Brooke.

Gotta try It...

I have a serious love for Frozen Yogurt... In high school I practically lived on Maverick's Frozen Yogurt. There was something about serving yourself a huge cup full for a very small price. Today my sister and I discovered YoZone with their many different flavers of self serve yogurt. It was heaven! You have to be careful because they charge you by the ounce, but who could resist all that sweet goodness. Try it, I promise you will love it too.

An unexpected addition...

What would you bring for a house warming gift? Flowers, a decoration, some goodies...
Some of Matt's friends thought it would be a good idea to bring a puppy over as a house warming gift. They did it to tease Matt and I, but the boys were just so over joyed that we couldn't say no... So we now have a little Beagle puppy yelping in our garage. It yelps so much that it has lost it's voice, and now just squeaks. Hunter couldn't be happier with life. He gets up early in the morning and feeds the dog, and then runs right home from school to play with her. I hope the excitement lasts... We took the boys to the temple open house on Wednesday and Hunter wanted to take the dog with us. He said Heavenly Father loves animals too... I hope I survive this new addition.

If your Happy and You Know it...

I just finished my diaper bag and all I can do is clap my hands and shout for Joy!
I'm really happy with the way it turned out. It was smooth sailing, much easier than I thought it was going to be. My only grip is the stinking bag is huge. My sister Brooke spent the entire afternoon making jokes like "The baby can ride in it." and "You could take it to the grocery store and not have to use any plastic bags-going green." It really is that big.
Who cares.. I'm going to sport this jumbo bag with pride!
PS. the changing pad has cream Minky on the back, soft enough for anyone's behind.
